Programs
Sunday School
Children in Kindergarten through 8th grade begin worship with the congregation and are dismissed partway through the service for age-appropriate Christian education, returning before the close of worship. We use the Dwell curriculum, a story-centered approach that invites children to find their place in God's big story. [Learn More]
Youth Group

Ministries
Earth Stewards
Rooted in the conviction that caring for creation is an act of faithful stewardship, our Earth Stewards ministry tends our pollinator garden, cultivates native plantings on our grounds, and keeps our congregation informed and engaged on environmental issues. We believe caring for the earth is part of caring for our neighbors.
Health Ministry
Our Health Ministry is led by Parish Nurse Bonnie Biskup, who brings a holistic vision of wellness to the life of our congregation. Bonnie serves as a bridge between faith and health -- offering support, resources, and a compassionate presence for members navigating illness, recovery, and the full arc of human life. [Learn More]
Mission & Outreach
Mission and Outreach is one of the most vital arms of Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church. We support a wide range of local and global organizations, living out our conviction that faith without action is incomplete. [Learn More]
Worship & Music
Music is woven into the fabric of our worship life. Under the direction of Music Director Montana Smith and accompanied by Diane Wassick, our choir and bell choir lead the congregation in worship each Sunday -- drawing from both the rich tradition of congregational hymnody and the breadth of contemporary Christian music. If you love to sing or play, there is a place for you here. [Learn More]
