What to Expect
Worship at Freedom Plains is liturgical but not stiff. We follow a traditional order of worship with a Call to Worship, Prayer of Confession, Moments of Silence and Reflection, a Sermon and Blessing.
One thing you will notice is the amount of laughter your hear and smiles you see. The atmosphere is warm, casual, and genuinely joyful. You won't feel out of place, lost, or pressured.

Music is a central part of our worship life. On any given Sunday, you might sing a classic congregational hymn alongside a contemporary worship song. We are blessed with gifted musicians and a choir that leads the congregation with warmth and skill.
Sermons run about 15 to 20 minutes and are narrative and story-driven, rooted in scripture and connected to the texture of everyday life.

Dress is casual -- jeans are completely fine. Come as you are.
Families and Children
Children are welcome and celebrated at Freedom Plains. Kids begin worship with the full congregation and are dismissed partway through the service for Sunday School, returning before the close of worship.
Our children's ministry operates under a formal safety policy, including background checks for all volunteers and a two-adult rule in every classroom. Your children are safe here.
Nursery care is available for our youngest visitors. Accessible parking and entrance are available for those who need them.
First Time Visiting
When you arrive, you'll be greeted at the door. No one will put you on the spot, ask you to stand up, or make you feel like a stranger. Simply find a seat, pick up a bulletin, and settle in. Everything you need to follow along is in the order of worship.
After the service, we gather in Fellowship Hall for coffee hour -- a relaxed time to meet people, have a cup of coffee, and get a sense of who we are. We'd love for you to stay.
